Driver Qualifications
DMV Report
A Department Of Motor Vehicle report should be conducted on any Applicant who will be driving on behalf of an employer. Besides revealing an Applicant’s driving history, a DMV report can additionally reveal an Applicant’s level of responsibility to appear in court and/or pay fines, as well as reveal potential problems with drugs and/or alcohol.
A Department Of Motor Vehicle report, in most states, will provide the following:
- Name
- State of issuance
- Previous state of issuance
- License issue and expiration date
- Violations
- Restrictions
- Suspensions and revocations
- Failures to appear in court and arrest warrants
Further, a DMV report will reveal convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
Driving records are available in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and internationally.
